Our story
Built after watching too many trades businesses lose contracts they had already earned.
CredPing was born from watching trades businesses struggle with paper-based credential tracking. We saw electricians lose bids because they couldn't prove their crew's certifications fast enough. We saw plumbing companies get fined because a single Working at Heights certificate had expired without anyone noticing.
The trades industry runs on trust and compliance. General contractors need to know that every worker on their site holds valid credentials. Sub-trades need to prove it quickly and reliably. The tools that existed were either enterprise software designed for corporations with dedicated compliance departments, or nothing at all.
We built CredPing to fill that gap: a purpose-built platform for small and mid-sized Canadian trades businesses that makes credential tracking as simple as taking a photo and setting an expiry date. No training manuals, no complex workflows, no IT department required.
